The brethren enjoyed a lovely installation meeting on 10th November at Loughton. Not only did we have the pleasure of seeing W. Bro Richard Thompson invest his son as Junior Warden but were also humbled to have a WWII D-Day veteran amongst our visitors on the eve of Armistice Day. What a pleasure it was to greet him and thank him for his service.
We were also delighted to have W. Bro Neil-Thomas Allen, current Master of Lodge of Simplicity 7865 and co-presenter of Brother Masonic, the Masonic Podcast. If you’ve not given it listen yet then make sure you drop by Spotify, iTunes and Tunein. You can also find them on Twitter @BrotherMasonic. Whether you’re a Freemason or not you’re sure to find it fun and informational.
Finally we had great news of a potential new candidate for 2019 which is always welcome. Find out more about becoming a Freemason on our dedicated page.
